Premier Enclosure:With this enclosure you are permitted access to all public areas of the course. In addition to this you will also have exclusive access to the Premier Grandstand, Bar & Restaurant. If you wish to eat in the restaurant then advanced booking is advised. It is very popular and you should definitely book to avoid disappointment.
Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure: With this enclosure you are permitted access to the main Grandstand, the Parade Ring and also the Winners Enclosure. Within this enclosure is a great selection of bars and catering facilities selling hot and cold food and drink.
Centre Course Family Enclosure: For a family day out, this is without doubt the most popular of the enclosures. Within this is enclosure is picnic space and also the option of parking within the enclosure, for family convenience, particularly families with young children. This enclosure also benefits from a close up view of the horse racing action. There is also a bar and ample catering facilities
Special Events at Bath Racecourse
Bath Racecourse will hold 20 races through the 2010 season which commences Sunday 25th April and runs through until Sunday October 17th 2010. During this season, a range of class events will be held including group 1 class races which will be extreemly competitive and great horse racing fixtures.

The course characteristics of Bath racsecourse is a sharp left handed track which favours runners that are able to gain a lead in the early stages of the race. Overlooking the Famous Roman spa twon of Bath racecourse is located in the top of the hill the swirling gusts of wind create difficult conditions for the competetitors making a stiff, uphill finish. A difficult track for runners, riders and punters creating the Ideal conditions for the members of Lay Racing tips, adding to the character of the course.

How to find Bath Racecourse
By road:
Conveniently located two miles North of the city centre, Bath Racecourse is just six miles South of Junction 18 of the M4 Motorway and is well sign-posted from all major routes to its location on Lansdown Hill.
By rail:
You can reach Bath Racecourse from both the main London Paddington and South Wales lines. There are also regular connections from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham. Buses and taxis run from the station to the course (10-15 minutes ride).
There is a bus service provided by ‘First' bus company which runs every half an hour throughout the day starting 2 hours before the first race. The service number is 22 and it picks up from Dorchester Street . For more information please call 0845 6064446. The fare is £3 single or £6 return.
